Title : The Barbershop
Size : 30" x 40”
Medium: Acrylics
The Barbershop is a painting that happens in every African American community. I call the Barbershop “ the gentleman’s club”. Where black men meets, get a fresh haircut and talk about politics, community activism, relationships & ,jokes . I’m a child of the 60s and this reminds me of my childhood , going to the barbershop with my dad.
